Dr Mohammed Eltokhy - GP


Dr Eltokhy completed his medical degree in Egypt where he studied in Intensive Care Medicine. He also gained 6 years of experience in Primary Care and Emergency Medicine in Saudi Arabia before starting work in NSW Health in 2015 in the field of Intensive Care Medicine, General Medicine and Anaesthesia. In his spare time, he spends time with family and friends and enjoys his fishing adventures. Dr Eltokhy is working at BCHC every Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays and welcomes new patient.

Dr Muralee Balakrishnan


About Dr. Muralee:

  • Medical Degree (MBBS) and AMC Certification
  • Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine
  • 15 years of hospital experience in various medical, surgical, emergency, and general practice settings
  • Special interests in skin cancer checks, skin procedures, Implanon insertion and removal, pap smears, and chronic disease management

Beyond Medicine:When not caring for patients, Dr. Muralee enjoys capturing the beauty of the world through photography. He’s an avid explorer, whether it’s bushwalking, cycling, or nurturing an indoor garden.

Dr. Muralee’s dedication to patient well-being and his diverse medical expertise make him an invaluable asset to our practice and Bomaderry Creek Health Centre.


Dr Koko Bu - GP


Dr Koko Bu is a general practitioner with over 20 years of medical experience. She moved from China to Australia in 2003. She has gained extensive knowledge in different areas of medicine and was involved in research work at the St Georges Hospital.
Dr Bu likes to read, sew, draw and paint at her leisure time and she also enjoys the time with her two lovely dogs on weekends.
Dr Bu is working every Monday, Thursday and every second Friday and welcomes new patients.

Dr Hussein Zahid


Dr. Hussein Zahid is a seasoned medical professional with a diverse background and extensive international experience. After completing a two-year internship overseas in Baghdad, where exposure to trauma cases and various medical and surgical disciplines in a bustling hospital shaped his skills, he made the move to Australia in 2018.

Having contributed to the healthcare sector in South Australia for a year, Dr. Hussein Zahid has since been an integral part of Wollongong Hospital, demonstrating proficiency in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Cardiology, and expertise in Geriatrics and Chronic Disease management.

Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Dr. Hussein Zahid is eager to broaden his experience in Mental Health and Skin Cancer through upcoming courses as part of his journey toward becoming a General Practitioner. His commitment to patient care is evident in his willingness to offer medical cannabis prescriptions for chronic pain and other indications, showcasing a holistic approach to healthcare.

In an effort to meet the healthcare needs of the Nowra community, Dr. Hussein Zahid will be available after hours and weekends, primarily on Sundays. Moreover, his dedication extends to visiting residents of nursing homes, ensuring the provision of the highest quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr. Hussein Zahid is poised to make a lasting impact on the healthcare landscape, embodying a patient-centric ethos and a commitment to community well-being.

Dr Rob Satchell

Movement Science Sports Physiotherapy

Rob Satchell is an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for helping people with musculoskeletal problems and sports related injuries. After more than 11 years running a busy, award winning physiotherapy practice in Culburra Beach, Rob recently completed a year practicing in remote Queensland and has now returned to the Shoalhaven. During his career, Rob has worked with thousands of everyday people to help them recover from injury or pain and get back to doing the things they love. Rob has also had the privilege of working with many sporting teams and athletes and has toured overseas with Australian national level teams and athletes. Rob has special interests in: running related injuries, sports injuries, knee pain, ACL injury rehabilitation and the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis.
